The main RECOMB conference will be held in the Sofitel Victoria Warsaw hotel. There is a possibility of making reservations at a special rate at this and other selected hotels at the time of the registration.
The Wi-Fi access is through the "Sofitel Victoria" network. The password is "RECOMB".
The hotel is located in the city center, a few hundred meters from the main campus of University of Warsaw, the Royal Castle (14) and the Warsaw old town. Social dinner on Sunday (April 12) will be organized at the University New Library building (7).
The satellite conference will take place at the University's campus nearby, in the Old Library building (1). You may want to take a look at the visualization of the campus. RECOMB-SEQ and RECOMB-CCB will also have their social dinner – on Friday (April 10) at Villa Foksal Resturant (6).
To get to Sofitel Victoria Warsaw hotel (2) or to University campus from Warsaw Chopin Airport with Warsaw public transport the most convenient way is to go by bus line number 175 (about 40 minutes) and exit at "Uniwersytet" bus stop at the main campus gate (3) (or "Zachęta" bus stop on Saturday and Sunday). You can also take a taxi, which should take cost not more than 30-40 PLN (there is an authorized taxi stop right outside the arrivals terminal).
To get to University campus from the bus stop "Uniwersytet" walk along Krakowskie Przedmieście street heading north. After approximately 25 meters turn right to enter University campus through the main gate (3) – the precise adress is 26/28 Krakowskie Przedmieście street.
To get to Sofitel Victoria Warsaw hotel (2) from the University campus main gate (3) walk along Krakowskie Przedmieście street heading north. After approximately 200 meters turn left into Królewska street. Keep walking Królewska street approximately 240 meters. The hotel is located on the left side.
To get to Sofitel Victoria Warsaw hotel (2) from "Zachęta" bus stop walk along Królewska street heading west about 200 meters. The hotel is located on the right side.
